Station 4 low house target keeps beating me - what am I doing wrong?
Just started American Skeet a few months back and I'm really struggling with the low house target from station 4. I'm using a Beretta A300 with a Skeet choke and Federal Top Gun 2.75" shells with 1 oz of #9 shot. I feel like I'm swinging through it but I'm consistently behind and breaking it late if at all. My hold point is just inside the low house window.

Station 4 low house is a tricky one for sure - it's coming almost straight at you before it turns. Try moving your hold point out further, maybe 3-4 feet outside the low house window. That gives you more time to establish your swing before the target really gets moving. Also, focus on keeping your head down on the stock and maintaining your swing speed - it's easy to stop your gun when you see that target coming right at you. What's your gun mount timing like - are you calling for the target with the gun already mounted?
