Station 4 doubles in American Skeet - can't seem to get the second bird consistently

Been shooting American Skeet for about 2 years now, mostly with my Beretta A400 Xcel. I'm fine on singles, but when it comes to the doubles on station 4, I keep missing the second target (low house). I'm using a Skeet choke and Federal Top Gun 2.75" shells with 1 1/8 oz of #9 shot. Just can't seem to get the timing right after hitting the first bird.

Station 4 doubles are tricky - that second low house bird comes out fast after you break the high house. What helped me was focusing on my gun mount timing. Don't wait to see the first target break - as soon as you pull the trigger on the high house, your gun should already be moving down to pick up the low house bird. Try practicing just the transition without shooting to get the muscle memory. Also, are you using the same hold point for both targets, or adjusting for the second one?
