Station 4 doubles in American Skeet - my timing is off

Been shooting American Skeet for about 2 years with my Beretta A400 Xcel. I'm solid on singles but when it comes to station 4 doubles, I'm consistently missing the second bird. I'm using a Skeet choke and Federal Top Gun 2.75" #9 shot at 1200 fps. I feel like I'm rushing the second shot and not getting a good mount.

Station 4 doubles are tricky because you're dealing with two different angles. Try this: focus on the high house bird first since it's the faster target, then let your swing carry you to the low house. Don't rush the transition - the low house bird hangs there a bit longer than you think. I've found keeping my cheek weld solid through both shots helps with consistency. What's your gun mount like on the second shot - are you dropping it or staying in position?
