Struggling with station 4 high house in American Skeet
Just started shooting American Skeet a few months back and station 4 is killing me, especially that high house target. I'm using a Beretta A300 with a Skeet choke and Federal Top Gun 2.75" shells (7.5 shot, 1200 fps). I feel like I'm always behind it. Tried holding a bit higher but still missing.

Station 4 high house is a classic tough one for beginners. That target is really moving by the time it gets to you. Try holding about a foot above the window on the high house and a foot out. Don't wait to see it - mount and shoot as soon as you call pull. With that Skeet choke and 7.5s, you've got plenty of pattern. Are you shooting with both eyes open? That can really help with tracking crossing targets.
