Struggling with consistent leads on station 4 high house in American Skeet
Been shooting American Skeet for about 5 years, mostly with my Beretta A400 Xcel. I'm solid on most stations but station 4 high house gives me fits - sometimes I'm ahead, sometimes behind. Using a Skeet choke and Federal Top Gun 1-1/8oz #9 at 1200fps. Anyone else have this issue or tips on hold points?

Station 4 high house is tricky because it's that perfect angle where the target's crossing speed feels deceptive. I had the same problem until an old-timer showed me his method: hold just above the window on the high house, maybe 6 inches, and focus on the target's leading edge rather than the whole clay. With your setup, try a slightly more aggressive lead - think 2-3 feet instead of 1-2. What's your gun mount timing like on that station?
