Struggling with consistent timing on station 8 high house in American Skeet

Been shooting American Skeet for years with my Beretta A400 Xcel, but station 8 high house always feels rushed. I'm using a Skeet choke and 1 oz of #9 shot at 1200 fps. I've tried holding at the window and just below it, but my break percentage is way lower than other stations. Anyone else have this issue or tips?

Station 8 high house is tricky because it's coming almost straight at you. Try holding about a foot below the window and focus on mounting smoothly as you call for the bird—don't rush the gun up. I found that a slightly slower swing works better there; let the target come to you rather than chasing it. What's your gun mount timing like on the other stations? Might be worth checking if you're starting your mount too late on station 8.
