Station 4 high house giving me fits on doubles in American Skeet

Been shooting American Skeet for about 2 years now, mostly with my Beretta A400 Xcel. I'm solid on singles but when we get to doubles at station 4, I consistently miss the high house bird on the second shot. I'm using a Skeet choke and Federal Top Gun 2.75" 1-1/8oz #9 loads. Feels like I'm rushing it or maybe my hold point is off?

Station 4 doubles are tricky because you're dealing with that high house bird that's already starting to drop. What helped me was moving my hold point for the high house a bit higher - I aim about a foot above the window instead of right at it. That gives you a better angle on the second shot. Also, try focusing on your feet and body position; make sure you're settled before calling for the pair. What's your gun mount timing like on that station - are you mounting as you call or before?
