History

Created by Remington in 2004 as subsidiary for affordable high-quality shotguns. Imported variants of classical Russian shotguns manufactured by Izhevsk Mechanical Plant (Baikal trademark) in Izhevsk, Russia. Introduced SPR100 (single-shot) and SPR310 (over-under) in 2005. Remington ceased importing in 2009, ending Spartan Gunworks brand.
