History
Kodensha Co., Ltd. of Tochigi began under Nikko name in April 1955, exporting from August 1958. Partnered with Winchester on Model 101 (1963), with executives later forming Nikko Firearms Company Ltd. Introduced Golden Eagle shotguns in 1975. Nikko 5000 series produced 1975-1982. Operations ceased 1989.
