Founded in 1926 in New Haven, Connecticut by Carl Gustav Swebilius as supplier to firearms companies. Purchased Hartford Arms 1932, began making .22 pistols. Operated Hamden, CT (1946-1977), then East Hartford (1977-1984). Assets auctioned December 1984. Brand revived in Texas 1993-2018.
