Founded in 1918 as State Armament and Engineering Works in Brno, Czechoslovakia. In the 1930s became the world's biggest weapons exporter. Renamed Waffenwerke Brünn during Nazi occupation. Now operates as a subsidiary of Colt-CZ, producing hunting rifles.
