Fiocchi
Fiocchi Munizioni S.p.A.
Italy's largest and oldest ammunition company, renowned for Olympic-winning shotshells and premium hunting loads.
History
Founded in 1876 in Lecco, Italy by Giulio Fiocchi, a bank employee who purchased a failed munitions factory. Giulio focused on quality and technological innovation with metal cartridges. Fiocchi survived both World Wars (factory destroyed by Allied bombing in 1945, rebuilt by family in 1946) and grew into one of the world's premier ammunition manufacturers. Fiocchi opened a U.S. facility in Ozark, Missouri in 1983 to service the American market, now employing nearly 200 Americans. The company expanded to Little Rock, Arkansas and is now part of the Czechoslovak Group (70% acquired in 2022). Fiocchi shotshells have won Olympic medals in Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012, and Rio 2016. Known for world-class target ammunition, rare collector calibers, and NATO-specification military ammo.
