History

Established in 1784 by William Gallyon in Cambridge after apprenticing with London gunmaker John Henshaw. Acquired Lionel Clough (1939) and Charles Francis (1951). Held Royal Warrants. In 2018, Adam Anthony and Richard Hefford-Hobbs purchased from Richard Gallyon, who remains brand ambassador.
